We would like to give you a free engagement photo shoot. We'll pick you up, take you to your reception venue, discuss your wedding plans over a coffee or a glass of wine, then browse the grounds to find the best spots to take photographs. What better way to find out if we can do the job?

A few days later we'll come to visit you at your home and present you with all the photos taken during the session. All the photographs are free of charge and there is no obligation to book us to photograph your wedding.

2 Photographers
A wedding day is all about things coming together, things that start the day separate. Two families, two people, two teams of people helping you and getting ready to play their part in your special day. The bride may start the day at her parents, at home or at a hotel, but wherever it is the groom will be somewhere else, maybe at the Best Mans home? We send one photographer to photograph the brides preparations and another to photograph the groom so that all the preparation details on both sides can be captured, without having to rush off half finished to get somewhere else.

Having two photographers booked also means you can put your worst fears to rest. If the worst did happen and serious illness prevents one of us from attending your wedding, your wedding will still be photographed in the style that you loved.

We back-up on everything, not just people. We carry a minimum of 2 cameras, numerous spare lenses, have 2 cars, 3 copies of your files in 3 different locations

All Day Coverage & Only Attending One Wedding Per Day
We do get enquiries from couples saying they only want photos taking at the ceremony, so can they just book a couple of hours instead of all day? Sounds a great way to save a little money, and 2 hours should be more than enough for a small wedding right?
The problem is that there's many aspects of a wedding that are not under anyone's control, the weather being an obvious one. So say we agree on 2 hours and start with photographing the groom outside the church, 30 min's before the ceremony. The bride arrives so a few shots there and in we go. The ceremony is about 45 min's long so we'll have 45 after to do the family groups etc. But during the ceremony it starts pouring with rain. We can't take photos inside the church after the ceremony because there is another wedding. We head to the reception venue which is a 20 min drive away but its still raining. We can't take pictures in the main room because you're an hour early and the room is not ready. We either do a few shots in the hotel lobby (not good), take the pictures in the rain (worse) or we wait for the rain to stop (perfect, it never rains all day, there is always a break even if it is only a few min's). But what happens in 20 min's time? This is not a good time to ask for extra time, only to find that the photographer has another wedding to get to. And even if they don't, they can charge you whatever they like for that extra hour or two, you will not be in a good position to negotiate.

Unlimited Photographs Taken
Some photographers will offer packages such as "pick 20 photos from 100" or some other variation. There is no limit on the number of shots we take and you can pick as many as you like.

Mobile Studio
We have a mobile photography studio that we can bring to your evening reception if you wish. You and your guests can have your photo taken and have a print to take away that night.

We'll Attend Your Church Rehearsal
There are a number of reasons why we do this. To meet your family and the bridal party prior to the ceremony. To meet the vicar and discuss what photographs we can take inside the church. To check out good places to take photos in the church grounds. To confirm the times and locations of the preparation photos, and go over any late changes to your plans.

Digital Editing and Air Brushing
The last thing you need on your wedding day is a spot or a cold sore to pop up. Digital technology means that whatever minor blemishes appear on the day, they don't have to be in your photos. We can also remove tattoos, razor cut marks and whiten teeth etc.

You Receive A Print of Every Shot We Take
What is the point of your photographer taking hundreds of photos if you only get to keep the best 40 or so? We give you a print of every photograph we take.

Online Photo Gallery
Every photo from your wedding will go into your own wedding gallery on this website. Family and friends can even order prints from there if they want to. Click here to see online galleries from previous weddings.

A Disk of Every Photo
That's right, every photo from your wedding on disk so you can have a copy on your computer.

Thank you Cards
It's nice to thank your guests for coming to your wedding, and maybe for the gift they gave you. We supply cards and envelopes so you can send these to all your guests. We've included our web address so they can find your photos online. Just ask to see a sample when we meet you.

Colour, Black and White & Hand Coloured Photographs
We can provide a wide range of different finishes and digital effects to your photos, but if you have a preference then we will be guided by that.

Professional Lab Prints
If your album contains traditional photographs then these will be printed at a professional lab, not on an injet printer. Inkjet prints are quick to produce and although some can look good when printed on the best quality paper, they are very easily damaged by the smallest amount of moisture.

Album Design Consultation
The design and the layout of wedding albums has always been done by the photographer, or more often in the case of storybook albums by graphic artists working for the album company. The fact is these people, whilst being skilled at designing album layouts, are only ever going to see it once, where as to you, your wedding album is something to be cherished and viewed for the rest of your lives. Wouldn't you like to have some creative input?

I was discussing this with a few photographers in an online forum and I was very surprised by some of their comments. The question asked was "Should clients have input in creating their wedding album?" - Here is the answer another photographer gave.....

Sounds to me like they think their clients are getting in the way of them doing their job.

If you want us to do everything for you we will of course do that, but if you would like creative input, no problem! We have album design software on our laptops that make it simple for anyone to help design a beautiful layout.

1 - Your pictures will not be boring, predictable and stale. The samples I show is the style you can expect from your wedding day photography when you invite me to capture this important day.

2 - You will have fun. Taking the pictures will not be torture or the equivalent to a visit to the dentist.

6 - Your wedding day is unique. We'll endeavour all our skills and creativity to capture the “essence” of your day.

7 - No extra charges for covering the evening reception, or preparations, or travelling, or anything else, ever. Unless you want to add an extra product, the price we quote you is the price you pay.

8 - When you receive your proofs, if you are not happy with the photos I will take them away and write you a cheque for a full refund, no questions asked and no hard feelings either.

We will come to your home & show you samples of various album types, so you can see and feel the quality, all of which are full of photographs from previous weddings we have photographed.
